Help me make a decision.

I'm to the point on my Monster 750 to get some rubber on the rims.  It's close to being finished. 

I have two choices.  I'm very much leaning toward one over the other, but I want some solid input.

Option 1:  Continental Conti Motions for $148 shipped.

Option 2:  Michelin Pilot Powers for $210 shipped.

I'm leaning towards the Continentals, they've gotten good reviews from several different sites.  I know the Michelins are good, but I'm not sure they're $60 better.

Any reason why I should not go with the Michelins?  I want solid reasons, not just "Powers are awesome."

pilot powers on my 620 which has about the same as your 750 got me about 6k miles and they were squared off a little, rode them for another 500 miles and though they had good tread left the squaring on the rear you could feel so they only gave me about 6500 miles before they were done this was normal commuting not hard canyon riding.

if the contis get better mileage out fo them get them for that reason.

Since you won't let me say Pilot Powers are awesome I won't. I like them and Dunlop Qualifers. Can I say that? No intel on the Contis, sorry.

Pilot Powers hands down, There great for long trips or short rides around town really grippy, But I did get a great deal on Jakewilson.com when i bought them.

My power pilots are very nice in the twisties but I do alot of commuting and after 2500 miles already starting to square depends on what type of riding your doing. I can't believe no body's ripped you for not doing more research on the forum sometimes it's a tough crowd.

It was likely the nature of the question, rather than a "best tire" thread, I'm trying to justify $60 more for a well known tire over a not as well known tire that is getting really good reviews. 

Maybe I just need to grab the Contis and post a review since there is only one reference that showed up when I searched for "Continental Conti Motion."

I have pilot Road 2ct because my bikes a big commuter. Also with a 750cc engine, ur a little low on the torque side, u can get away with a pilot power. I can barely get 4500miles from mine before im past the wear bars. but im at well over 12,000 + 3 trackdays + bunch of weekend fun riding and touring duty with my pilot ROAD 2ct.

You need new tires.

michelins.  if you want more than 5k out of a tire get a touring rear. I'm sure they make one that has a compatable tred pattern to the front pp.  $210 for a set of tires is cheep, wish race tires were that cheep[bacon]
