I just found out about this yesterday, and I learned a few minutes ago that I missed the last opportunity to see it here in LA...it was playing at a theater on my way home from work.   [bang]

it's FINALLY out? going to have to find it now, It was released in japanese without subtitles like a year ago.
I may not have gone where I intended to go, but I think I have ended up where I needed to be.

I was a huge Ayrton Senna fan. I was crushed when he was killed.

Interesting clip giving some explanation of his accident. True? Who knows? I'm sure his untimely death led to the safety improvements we have today at FIA and FIM approved tracks. Way too little run off in the turn he crashed in. Sad.

Not playing in my neck of the woods.  All we have in the theaters is Justin Bieber.  WTF??  Sorry to say I never heard of him before, but now I really want to see the movie.  Found this on youtube.

i believe the lack of clearance under the car was due to the (too?) slow speed during the safety car period resulting a loss of pressure in the tires.

i seem to remember senna complaining about the speed of the safety car.

I took the afternoon off and caught the last showing of it's run here in LA.  Excellent documentary.  Delves into aspects of Senna that I was not aware of, as well as insight into the politics of F! and his rivalry with Prost.
Well worth looking for if you are in or near a major metropolitan area, or when it is released on DVD (probably later this year).

There is a brief scene of him riding through Monaco on a Monster!  With his girlfriend on the back.

And thanks to learning about this doc, I too saw the Top Gear segment...one of the best I have seen on the show.

I was attending a VW show with fellow members of the local Formula Vee association (we were displaying our cars).  We were discussing Ratzenberger's death,  when one of our members arrived late with the news of Senna's accident and death.  A terrible weekend...

I don't know if it's in the Documentary, but I think I remember Ayrton telling his wife that morning that he had a bad feeling about that track. (?)

I remember watching the crash , it was terrible...and also Clay Regazzoni's crash ...and Niki Lauda going up in flames, and Brian Redman too.

Clay is a paraplegic, Niki is almost unrecognizable, the others....dead.

Sad, sad days in F1.

Rega was killed in an auto accident in 2006.

I had almost forgotten about this documentary. I happened upon a small theater while on travel that had the poster for it on the wall and currently had it showing. Sweet!

Just got back and have to say they did a great job.
