The urge and addiction to split lanes is strong and not looked highly upon by those who live in the other 49 states.

I haven't been popped by the LEO's here yet, but haven't done it much yet...

But it B-L-O-W-S to sit in traffic.
At a dead-stop.
On the freeway.
And have nothing you can do about it.

That is all.  Thanks, and good day.

Especially someplace like NM where it's probably 200 degrees and you're just sitting there on the freeway melting away.

Bummer, atleast you have a nice bike to look at.

traffic there can't be any worse than the 405 northbound on the weekend or during rush hour when you are literally sitting for 30 minutes not moving at all in a car, thank heaven for lane splitting then.

but it sucks when you are going 5mph on 495 at the dc beltway during the summer at 95 f and 95% humidity, and there is no lane splitting.

Maybe not the traffic itself but I'm sure the combo of traffic + weather is worse.

Perhaps it was the Captain America - esque paint scheme, but I did get a nod out of a  Police this morning @ the bagel-shop with my bike parked right in front....on the side-walk.  Evil

Without.  The shield was recently modified to include 2 mini-surface to air rockets and an espresso machine.  It's now too heavy to sling over my shoulder & ride with.  (really should've thought that through a bit more...) Roll Eyes

Okay... First of all, gotta lose the espresso machine. That's what the rear seat is for.  Pop off the seat and insall it in the space below. You wouldn't need all the bulky flashy fancy decorative crap, and the heat from the exhaust should heat the water and steam the milk no problem!   Cool   That will take care of most of the weight problem.

Second... Why surface to air?!  If ya need to get through traffic, surface to surface is the way to go. But, if you MUST have SAM's, I'm sure you could figure out how to mount some rocket launchers in the intake openings or something.   Evil

Just say'n...  Kiss
