Cool.  I have yet to make it out to see FCD play.  Top of my to-do list though.  Thanks for the run-down.

Well…. it's taking too damn long to get this deal done, but thanks for asking  Grin  We've bought a house in Dallas that's 20 minutes from Alan's job and 10 minutes from UT Dallas (I'm going back to school in  the Fall to finish my degree).  It's a cool house but it will remain "vacant" until June the 18th when we can make the move from our Flower Mound house, which, we think, is sold.  It's under contract and should close within the next few days.  However, we can't move until Sam has finished school so we're leasing the Flower Mound house back from the new owners until we can make the move over to our new house in Dallas mid-June.

Got that?  Shots

Holy crap.  Pain in butt. We've got stuff in storage, stuff in the garage of the Dallas house, and stuff just about everywhere else you can think of because before we move in in June we're having the inside of the Dallas house repainted, carpeting replaced, and various other projects done so we don't have to be around when all the mess is getting done.

At any friggin' rate, this whole sell a house/buy a house/move a house has totally kicked my butt.  Oh, and did I mention Sam is graduating from high school on June 6th?  My Pikes Peak literally has cobwebs on it.  Very sad  bang head

Well, this sounds like a dose of good ole reality!  "Think of how much time we can save in the commute, ... , things will be so much closer...."  balanced with "if I have to drive to the storage one more time....!!!"  On the good side: once it is finally over BOY OH BOY what a releif!  And AMS will be near by too :-)

Stir this into your morning cuppa and I guarantee it will be sweeter, your steps lighter, ALL day:

Back when F1 cars.. er FA1... cars were LOUD and f&^%ing furious.  Not work safe, hehehehe (unless you've got ear buds).  And you WILL giggle out loud, I promise.

Enjoy!

That was fun, thanks for posting! Did you see at 2:55 he damn near hit a sign pole.

My .02, the FIA should do away with all engine requirements other than displacement as related to fuel delivery system. For example: Turbo engines are xxxx max displacement and normally aspirated engines are xxxx max displacement, other than that there should be no rules defining the ENGINE. Obviously the car itself must follow established safety requirements, but the engines should be wide open.

That being said, the new engines are rather incredible, just quiet.

Is it wrong that I look at all of the rain over the last several days and think to myself, "drought conditions aren't all THAT bad."?

I am going to tempt the rain gods today and ride to work I think.

Yep, pretty sad; I've been up to my eyeballs with Sam's graduation, my Mom's not well so I've been doing the Dallas to Austin to Dallas thing quite a bit AND we are right in the middle of moving.  Two more weeks in our "old" house, then the movers come and we should be moved into our new house by the 20th.  Should have everything unpacked and sorted by... December bang head

So, as much as I'd like to ride with y'all tomorrow… I'm meeting with the contractor at 10 a.m.

Oh, and Sam's graduation ceremony is Sunday.  Yip-ee!

Yep, I've been riding some lately, but I never have time to ride on the weekend due to chores, errands, and honey-dos. Where do you want to meet up and what time? My tank is full of ethanol-laced gas that needs to be burned. Tongue
