I recently purchased and installed the H Competition Rodan Box Underseat exhaust on my '09 1100S and have been extremely happy with not only the exhaust but also with the customer service after the sale.  Ryan was extremely responsive to my multiple questions throughout the entire process.  Thank You Ryan for the exhaust, and thank you DMF for a being a great source of information!  Below are some HDR pictures I took using the techniques described in the tutorials section of this forum.

**Edit**
Just installed Sato Rearsets to get rid of the "chicken wings"

That exhaust really does look great. It follows the natural lines of the bike very well, and is almost hidden from the side because of it.  bacon

The rear sets are near the top of the list of things to change, when the wife wants to go for a ride we take the Buell, so I do not need those chicken wings flapping around back there.  I am also working on finalizing the design for a custom open clutch cover.

looks good, are you running the Duc.EE or did you find another way to eliminate the error code from the lack of flapper valve?

Sweet looking bike!  Why can't all 696/1100 come standard from the factory like that?

The exhaust comes with the Duc.EE for the 1100

In addition to the aesthetics and exhaust sound improvements, I definitely notice the bike handles better with the significant loss of weight from the back end.

I went for the ceramic coating option, so the box does not really retain any heat and can be touched within seconds after a ride.  As for the license plate, the thermal mass of those thin pieces of metal are quite low, so there are really no heat retention issues there either.

Here is a pretty good sound clip of the exhaust on a 696:
H competition 696 Ducati Exhaust Rhodan Box

I would say on my 1100, it sounds a little "deeper", but that may be an artifact of in person vs. youtube sound.  Before I installed the exhaust, I only heard wind noise at highway speeds; now I only hear the exhaust at highway speeds!  I definitely notice the cages (cars) get out of my way faster now that I have this exhaust installed!

I thought I had it narrowed down to the Leo Vince or Zard but looking at those pics..VERY nice BTW..and hearing the clip..

I may just have to talk to Ryan again.  He's just on the other side of town too!!   waytogo
