Since I seen recent mention of bands with whom I'm not familiar, I though it appropriate to have a thread where y'all could post about your favorite (or least favorite) bands, songs, trends, mood music, musicians...

Have at it, young 'uns.

Doesn't count unless you post a link.

Awesome re-do of some classic Jimi H, some incredible pick work. WOWZA! Maybe the best Rob Thomas I've seen as well.

Two others with a great blues/rock sound, Johny Lang and Kenny Wayne Sheppard.

Kenny Wayne Shepherd- Blue On Black (Acoustic)

It was great to see you last night, Godek.

We went & saw quite possibly the worst concert I've ever seen (And I've seen hundreds).
It sucked so bad that I don't remember who the hell they were, but the company was great  chug

Hope you have, or had a safe trip back home .

Edit: Forgot to contribute.

If you have issues with the "F bomb" there is absolutely no need to open the first one.
Second two, Myles Kennedy (remember that name), & Mark T.
Scottish, The Buckley ones are for you. Jonny & KWS idolized this guy. He has many, many more "Bluesy" songs, but these are chilling. I would imagine Leonard Coen smiled down on him everytime Jeff sang Hallelujah (Now they are both singin' it together). Myles Kennedy also sings a great version of this also.
Ratfink, The Social D is for you (The band, not the lyrics).
Acoustic wizard, Nuno bettencourt.
And The Cult. Two of the "Items" in the last one are in my dream garage.

HAPPY EASTER  Grin

Jeff Buckley-Hallelujah

My tastes are very eclectic, ranging from classical to Chuck Berry to jazz. For good old American music, I really love Lucinda Williams:

And I've been a Little Feat fan since the original, Lowell George days of the early '70's:

Edit: I just realized the I inserted the links to the youTube videos, not the videos themselves. Still works.

Slash has a new album out. Some of the singers & pickers include, Wolf Mother (shown here), Ozzy, Myles Kennedy, Dave Grohl, Rihanna, Ian Astbury (the cult), Izzy (GnR), Chris Cornell, Fergie, Lemmy ( Motorhead for you kiddies). Etc...

There are some great vids on You Tube of him and other incredible artist also, Jerry Cantrell, Billy Duffy, Dave Navarro, Perry Ferrall, Lenny Kravitz.  Theres a bunch of him doing the Godfather theme song (why do i think of you, Nic, here?  Roll Eyes).

And for all you guys...& gals, that respect the ladies who study "Ballet"
