Let's see what everyone's current favorite/all-time favorite/local/whatever beer is.

For me, I love Sam Adams' new Noble Pils.

If you like a nice, hoppy beer, give it a try. It's a seasonal brew so who knows how long it will be around....

I used to really like Sam Adams White Ale.  Too bad they don't brew it anymore.  Sam Adams Summer is good for US Domestic wheat brews.   Same for Shocktop.  A little too orangey, though.  Thats the problem with US brews, too fruity.

Nothing beats a good witbier, weissbier, Hefeweizen, kristallweizen.

Guinness is the no brainer. Drink it all the time. It's the one thing I know I can get at a lot of places on tap...

I wouldn't go that far, there are people that {gasp} don't like Guinness.
Let's keep it open to any beer you like, but I really want to hear about beers that aren't necessarily as common, even foreign beers not available in the U.S.

Maritime beers are my favorite. They're a local Seattle brewery. In Fall for about 3 weeks they have an XPA...it's an IPA dry hopped with fresh (not dried as usual) hops. It is awesome.

They also always have 2 selections on cask at their brew pub. I always get what they have on cask (usually a Pale and an IPA) when I'm there...cask is the best IMO. The Red Hook brewery also has usually 2 cask selections.

For rare beers...I had Guiness Bitter back when my parents were living in Germany. My mom found it in the store and sent me a 4 pack. I've never seen it or heard of it since...even took a can to the local liquor store to see if he could order it...no luck. It was in their standard cans, but the can was green. Good stuff...similar to Boddingtons IIRC, but its been a while.

Boddingtons  is good but hard to find around here.  For everyday beer I'm good with Long Trail, made in VT.

Oh ya and Guinness.

Long Trail makes a very good selection of beer. As with most of the smaller breweries, I find the seasonal beers the best. Of course, because you can't get them all the time...
