Just had the procedure done friday around noon.

I was able to attend a work happy hour that same day at 6pm.

I hear a lot of guys are scared of the procedure, but don't be. It is quick an simple. One thing I would ask for is lidocaine creme before the procedure. Specific name is Lidocaine and Prolocaine Cream, 2.5%.

I think I sat longer in the waiting room then the procedure itself! Not to mention my co-pay was only 25$!!


Yes, I am 29 and had the procedure done and several factors led to this procedure. Won't post publicly, but would gladly talk over PM in strict confidence about it.

I did it when I was like 26.

After my daughter was born.

Good idea!
Your fur grows in so much softer afterwards, and that "pee on the couch " urge goes away. You will gain a little weight tho.

got mine done in my 20's too and havent thought twice about it.

I was mountain biking the next day!  My girlfriend at the time was a wise ass and brought an e-collar from the vet into work with my "john's vasectomy collar" and put it on my desk.

I've had my second and we are seriously considering it (second kid, vasectomy).  As long as the gun still fires, I don't care if it's blanks.  [cheeky]  Just can't decide if we want a third....
