I know some bike manf. or even dealerships offer a discount or credit for showing that you passed an MSF course. Does Ducati do anything like this?

just insurance companies that i've heard of...also some give discounts if you're part of a recognized rider's group, like AMA (usually you have to provide a member number for proof).

It's also worth telling them that you are a member of a DOC (Ducati Owners Club).  The old DML was and still is a recognized DOC and membership is free.  Just register and presto.

I know Honda will send you a rebate check for something like $50 or more if you become a HRCA member and take the MSF course. Usually you automatically get a one year membership if you purchase a new Honda. After taking the course, send in the coupon and the class certificate number, you'll get a check a few weeks after.
