Question does this sound like a Ducati key code , and if it is is there a way I could give the code to someone to make a key to start my bike ?

There are ways to duplicated the keys but I don't think it actually required having the code on the card. You need a special key making machine.

the code on the card, if i'm not mistaken, is for UNLOCKING your immobilizer after it is activated by a potential thief/problem.
you insert the RED key, push a couple buttons on the dash, and then enter the numbers, and the bike should start up in the normal fashion.
i don't think the code has much to do with duplicating keys.

should be two numbers on the code card.  One is for bypassing the immobilizer; the other is the code for cutting the key BUT that coding system is only used in Europe so the number is virtually useless if your in the US.
