What about the other "rebel" that has to "think about it"? does he not like the idea of shacking up with a bunch of hooligans  Evil laughingdp

Sadly, Justin won't be making it this year - just Chris and I. Justin and Woggy should be making it out in 2013 though Smiley

I hereby make the following predictions:

Ducati will go all liquid cooled w/wet clutches.

The Monster will cease to exist in favor of either the SF bikes, or another platform.

Panigale will have a small displacement (little) sister.

Diavel will last another 3 years before ending production.

Ducati's will settle on 11' 4V motors as standard in non-SBK's & Panigale chassis bikes for SBK's.

There will be no more 2 or 3 valve Duc's.

Enjoy your future...  (Just had to get that out someplace...)

Oh, one more 'prediction'...

The Monster will receive NO further iterations.  It will go out of production the same as is currently available (696/796/1100evo).

Euro noise regulations have killed the (beloved) dry-clutch and the Euro emission regulations will kill the air-cooled motors entirely.

It's simply too damn difficult to get an air-cooled motor to meet the Euro3 emission standards that are currently out when your cylinder cooling media is the ambient temperature.  If there is a Euro4 emission standard upcoming, that will surely signal the dimise of the air-cooled Duc's (and maybe air-cooled motorcycles entirely!)
