It was good swapping bikes and comparing different engine characters. We would've had Dave's bike in there, but he was off hunting for fuel in the hamlet of Flowerdale. The Flowerdale area has nice, open rolling hills and big sweepers with hills each side of the valley road.

A balmy 50 degrees  Grin . It was warm enough driving home that I had the windows rolled down in the car. That lulled me into a false sense of security and warmth, and it seemed like a good idea to go for a ride  Grin

Should be a good one. Really been looking forward to a full days riding. We're meeting at a little town called Coldstream. It hit 30F there this morning.
Ride ruined by a failed regulator (8 months old). Got on the back of me mates ST2 and went home to get the ute. Picked up the bike and took it to my shed. Fitted a manky old Ducati Energia regulator and it works well. Sent the reg back under warranty for a replacement. Got some more riding in but the day was at least halved. bang head

Pics below from a ride today. Went up through Toolangi, Healesville, Chum Creek, Gruyere, Seville (Aus), Silvan, Monbulk, Olinda, Mt Dandenong, Kalorama.

We rode from the mediterranean sea to the atlantic coast back via the pyrenean mountains to a bike Meeting called wheels and waves...the Monster is just a great bike for twisty roads.

I think he's using googlephotos.

I can still see his photos all right, though.

Can you see this photo (that I posted in another thread a while ago).

And this?

They are both hosed on googlephotos (and posted on this forum in the past.)
