Evening.   Back in the Midwest.  All relatively good.   Summer is a bit hectic so thought I’d visit the parents again before the schedule (work trips and house hunting) kicks in.

Looking like the pup is going to stay behind with my sister and family while I laser focus on the job (after being told last week I never would have been hired had they known my former boss would cause so many issues).  Dog will be fine. Not so sure I will but “sometimes the hardest thing and the right thing are the same”

I've been blackballed by a former boss, that is one of the reasons I can't get a job[decent paying] since in resume I would have to name his company unless I lied and used a US based company that I know they wouldn't call to prove I have admin experience ... We’re collecting the tons of paper required.  We have a decent shot of it all going to plan, but trying to stay vigilant and not get lax.  Especially early on this week while we have time to correct.

I’m in to help pay for legal council.  Heck, there are some lawyers here who may send threatening enough letter(s) to maybe assist?!?  Just a thought.

I reached out to three attorney's about a month ago.  One reps employers only.  The other two said, call us back whenever you're ready.

I need a job and benefits.  While this is not how any of us planned the start of this position would go, it's a good company with great bennies.  and I need a home.  The salary will help with that.

What I can't get soon enough is karma for that f'er.  It's mind boggling and surreal that this is happening.  I'll be fine eventually.  I think.   Tongue
