I was at AMS A picking up a couple of parts and I was talking with Tony. She askied if i would post something about the unveiling of the 696 on friday and Sat and both locations. Friday they will be demoing the 696 in alvarado and Sat in dallas. On Sat both places will have a BBQ. 
Jeff and Tony will be in alvarado on friday and sat. they will be in dallas.

Charles and I are going friday morning to ride it. nice...i'll definitely try to make it this saturday...i want to see it in person. |

Yeah, I got the mailer/invite the other day in the mail (...naturally) and I thought I would hit the Dallas store and check it out. I have to take the 916SPS back (shades of Cory's S4RS!) again to have the Evoluzione clutch slave installed. They forgot to do it when they were putting in the new clutch and figuring out the stalling problem. I didn't notice that the clutch slave wasn't on it until I got it home on the trailer. Oh well, it needs an inspection sticker anyway. I forgot to have them do it and they didn't notice. I'll take the 916 in on Friday for the work and I have some "free time" on Saturday so I might go both days! Scott or Jordan will do a quick clutch slave install while I wait... hmmm, maybe I'll just have to do a test ride to help pass the time! |

Maybe around 9:30 or so... after the traffic smoothes out on 75... hopefully  AMS opens at 10, right? I haven't been to Motopia in a while but I've been meaning to so this would be a perfect opportunity. |
