Looks like a neat project. This might help with the battery situation http://www.motowheels.com/italian/mySearchResult.cfm?parentcategoryid=&productID=6814&showDetail=1&categoryID=390|Ducati%20ST%20Electrical&vendoridtodisplay=0&filterFor=batteries&collection=. Also you might think about converting the wheels so that you can upgrade the brake to 4 piston, full floaters. Wheels come up from time to time from those that have upgraded to CF - just a thought. Also you might see how a 696 fender will look on it. - Gene

this is going to be interesting....there is also the Loudbike guy that did his Hyperstrada that was very sweet if you need more inspiration and he has a VERY sweet ARC Fabrication full exhaust system sitting on his shelf at home from that bike which is available for sale if that is also an option at all?!?!?!?...

I realized it might be a pain to dig up the info on his old bike...so here ya go...

maybe it'll give you some ideas or it won't...after that bike got wrecked...he turned his payout into 2 bikes...

Those batteries are nice. I've seen them here, but didn't know Motowheels had picked them. Tempting...unfortunately I've alrady spent $150 on an Odyssey battery.  Undecided

The wheels/brakes would aso be nice...that's a future mod though. I have to limit costs some.  Grin

Thanks for the links. Ya, I've seen his bike as well. Also very nice (although I'm not crazy about the color). Bummer it got crashed. His exhaust is cool, but I'm losing the under the tail routing.

This is all preliminary, but:

Wheels, triples, and passenger peg brackets = flat or satin black powdercoat

Frame = satin gun metal gray powdercoat (or something like that)

Tank = Black with a white strip down the middle. The border between the white & black will have a thin blue stripe...color will match my blue anodized pressure plate. The white/blue will likely have a tad of pearl in it...the black might be satin finish. Haven't totally decided yet.
