Ok so I have just got the bike and I would like to add a belly pan on her.  I have seen the one from Barracuda Moto (http://www.barracudamoto.it/DettaglioProdotto.aspx?IDP=1114&CAT=62) and have heard some good and bad reports on it (ie: heat from pipes may melt it????).  Does anyone here have a suitable site that I can look at or have they found and are using a belly pan on their 696 already?  Cheers! +1 on looking for belly pan ASAP too here.  BUT, holding out for Irfan/WildHair Accessories for one to TRUST. Contact him, he will put you on some "list" and let you know when one is available.  Not sure one you post is same, but there is ONE out there, unfortunately only carbon fiber and not what I want on my bike....COULD paint, but that's like carpeting a nice wood floor, IMHO lol

Keep us posted on what you find tho too? Tks

Carpeting a nice wooden floor was a good analogy. Why would one buy a naked Ducati only to spend more money covering up its nakedness/Ducatiness with plastic bits?  ???

If mine had come with one of those, getting rid of it would have been my first or second mod (along with losing the bikini top).

www.motowheels.com may have one if you're interested. I changed my mind.

The look of the bike was second to it's performance.  That's why I buy a bike and that's why I bought the Ducati 696!  I would carpet a wooden floor as well if it didn't seem practical.   ;D

I'll be offering these belly pans from Magical Racing very soon (as well as the other carbon parts)...

It's nice to see more accessories being made for this bike. However, I think that the search for the right belly pan will continue for me personally. The Magical Racing one still seems a bit out of place. I wish someone would come up with a pan that was integrated into bike a bit more.

I always seemed to like this one someone posted a while back. It's a little more in the direction I am looking for, as it's more of a fairing/belly pan type look. But in this case, too much fairing, not enough belly pan. As I type this, I feel like I might be asking for the impossible.

dutcy..

Ya... I personally like the lean no belly pan look... but the one that follows the lines of the bike up, and integrate into the style look a lot better

Ok, so now I am a bit torn again. But still not sure if this is the move either. But generally, it's making me think "what if"? Although, this one is still not doing it for me. The search continues...

...or, I should just be happy with having a "naked" bike and not put more plastic on, but take more off.

I was torn for about 24 mins then decided less is more.
