Ummmm...

why do you think it's called 'bike' of the moment?

They don't have to be one off customs...

they don't have to have 11ty billion $ worth of bling bolted on...

they don't have to be Monsters...or even Ducatis.

Anyone have a Metralla?...an AJS?...a Royal Enfield 750?

gettin' the picture?

Write it up....take some pics...

get in touch with a flounder and we'll take it from there.

...and the next person that asks about it will be assigned the task of writing their own bike up. Grin

Waitaminit.  You guys want me to brag about my bike?  The one I've seen once in a year?  The one I've ridden nonce since October '07 (herniated disc in my back)?  Wellllll if I recall correctly, it has two tires and is quite beautiful.  I am no longer rocking the stock mirrors.  What else can I recall....I got low CF Termis, a gas tank repainted to the correct Ducati Dark (thanks Trouble), genuine knockoff Napoleon mirrors, CRG levers, a groovy looking clutch cover (anybody wanna tell me who makes it?), tail chop, other cf bits PIAA super-white headlight bulb.  By now it's probably Field Mouse Manor as it's in my parent's garage in rural Connecticut.  Here's a pic of her & I from last summer.  I feel like I'm jumping into the middle of a conversation here, so if this is not what you had in mind, IT'S ALL TROUBLE'S FAULT!!!

How do you want the information Submitted?
as a post, a PM or an Email?
some photo's and a quick write up of each photo?

I'd like to put my humble little S2R forward one day for a write up when it's done.

Email works fine...

don't forget that the pics should be hi-res.

The format isn't all that critical...we're pretty laid back...

and the WebGeeKs will arrange things so it fits.

The bomb pics the only pics we host.

It doesn't have to be 'finished'...

are they ever? Grin

Absolutely beautiful little bikes, terrifyingly fast in the hands of a madman.
loved the faster it revs the brighter the headlight glows. Roll Eyes
The fully enclosed drive chain was nice. Smiley

I wish it was, all that's left of mine is a fading photograph, a sticker on my toolbox and memories.
For years a picture of the front brake was part of Cycle World's index page.
I believe they stopped importing them into the US around 72 (street bikes needed batteries).
A lot of them were thrashed on the race track. Grin

Not sure what you are looking for in this post, but I rather like my Monster. 2000 900S. Just came back from Ducati Seattle after its 6000 service.

I purchased the bike in its current paint scheme. I know folks roll their eyes at the idea of a duc with flames (I did too when I first saw it online). But the paint is VERY well done. It grew on me. I kind of like having something unique.
-Termis/airbox/chip
-Stainless steel bolts
-Carbon cowl
-Some billet bits here and there.

I know I am forgetting stuff......

If we're throwing in votes for our own bikes, let me throw in mine! She's a somewhat rare one, a 2003 620 Dark that came stock as a Dark with silver frame and wheels. A while back fellow DML'rs helped me to find out that only 199 of these type were shipped to the US from Italy.

Here are a few pics:
