Evening Ducatters  drink

Write a cheque?  I can't remember the last time I wrote a cheque.....  Pretty sure I don't own a cheque book anymore.....

In other antiquated news, I've been trying to deal with Corbin....  FMD  bang head   They make great aftermarket motorcycle seats but trying to do business with them from outside of the USA is a total PITA....  "Credit card payment?"  Not if it's a foreign credit card.  "Paypal?"  Not from outside the US....  "Wire us the money".... um.... maybe  Undecided

Hello, I have a damaged metal tank off a 2021 air cooled monster. From previous owner. Was looking for a used tank. Do I only look for air cooled monster tanks or do water cooled fit as well?
Do I stay looking in my cc range?  Or do bigger displacement model have same tank or bigger?
Tried searching part numbers but the different Color’s have different numbers. It’s a bit confusing.

The M is for mandare.  The other line should be marked R. You have it connected correctly.

Howie: I replaced the fuel filter. No difference.

Nate: Not long ago you answered mine(or someone else's) question about the fuel flange "IN" and "OUT" markings. One of my lines is marked M and is currently on the "OUT" hole. IIRC the bike started and ran when I mounted my fuel tank recently (after fitting new filter and low fuel light thermistor) with that mounting.

Not necessarily related:
Today I wanted to ride a little, to see if I believe the bike will run to the Netherlands for it's fix. Started fine, so I killed it after two seconds. Did some light after winter cleaning - brakes, chain, tires, wind screen, lights and seat. Very little water, but... Tried to start it again, but now it wouldn't fire. Fuel ok, prime ok, battery at 12,6 volts. After about ten attempts battery at 12 volts and it doesn't turn.

It's raining. Snow during the night. I plan to leave in ten days.   Dolph

Funny...that was the last thing left to do on the monster.
Focused on everything else first...suspension, wheels, brakes, lighting, ignition, exhaust, and lightweight rotating stuff on the engine.
Then I picked up an ST4s just a mile down the road and never got around to the big bore kit.

Son turns 16 next year.  Might just wait for him to blow it up first before putting new pistons and bores in.  Same reason why I have a big block sitting in the basement for the old F-150 Smiley

The moment you realize you're a make the beast with two backsing idiot...

So...you buy something online. The payment choices are personal check, or money order. You decide on a personal check because money orders cost...money.

You mail off your check...it's only going to North Carolina, so you use regular mail. Almost a week later, and the check hasn't hit you bank, so you send off an email to ask if the check was received.

The next day you get a call...yeah, we received your check, but you post dated it and the bank kicked it out.

Pay close attention to the make the beast with two backsing month. April 19th is not the same as March 19th.

I'm a make the beast with two backsing idiot. bang head laughingdp bang head laughingdp bang head laughingdp

If you got the year right.....you're doing better than I often do.
