I miss having a bevel.  Sometimes.  When someone else builds the engine up like this..

Can you actually hear the bevel drive?  They sound any different than a belt drive?  I've never heard one or seen one in person.

Stu and I had one in the shop, I don't recall any specific sound, but that was a loooong time ago.

I don’t recall it sounding any different.  If you can hear the bevel gears, I reckon they’re not long for this world...
