Title: 900 ie, 2001 starting issue Post by: morjako on June 12, 2019, 12:35:51 PM 368/5000 Have a monster 900 ie, 2001 with injection. Have starting problems that come and go. But now it is completely dead. The starter goes around and I hear the fuel pump running. However, I have no spark on the sparkplugs and they are dry. Have tried: - Replaced ECU unit - Replaced fuel filter - Switched ignition switch - Tried with starting gas - Replaced plugs - The battery is new - Fuses ok As the fuelpump runs, I expect the injection relay is ok. Title: Re: 900 ie, 2001 starting issue Post by: morjako on June 24, 2019, 12:11:12 PM Was at a Ducati dealer and took the diagnosis test today. They found that the sensor for timing/RPM was the cause of the problems.
