Title: It's time and I'm tired of waiting
Post by: muskrat on October 22, 2017, 10:55:38 AM
A ride is in order, start small with a trusted group that has ridden in a spirited fashion and isn't just a one-year rider.....sorry guys but safety first.
Then we shall move to the Hill Country and 3 sisters and Eureka Springs, AR.  After that we will move onto additional rides West/South West of Fort Worth.

Which one of you guys is interested?  No flakes, you commit and I'll make the arrangements and trust me when I tell you the roads are great.  In the Spring we will head down to Marfa, Alpine and Big Bend Country....Texas obviously followed by a summer trip to Durango, CO.

Start signing your name below, re post and we shall have a brief dinner meeting to discuss.

Lets go guys, been too long.

It doesn't have to be in blood or anything, does it?

I'm down for a good distance ride, it's just the timing...  forever it seems when someone plans a ride, I have another commitment, and vice versa.

The spirit is willing, but the schedule is weak...  happy to commit if the dates can work.

Well, you know my story. I won't go on any trips because of my flaky health but I'd sure go to the planning dinner! It'd be great to see folks again.

Heeeyyyyyy, now! I'm probably the safest flake out there! :'(

True, I haven't gotten any saddle time this year, but it's just like riding a bicycle, right? A 1/4 ton bicycle with 150 hp, and aircraft-quality brakes, right?  ;D

Anyway, the closer I get to my expiration date, the more I prefer safety over white-knuckling it, and quality over quantity. [coffee]

But, hey,

I'll drink to that! [beer]...well, make it tea, if we're riding, that is.

Ok knot head..................I am out of town this weekend  [laugh], sorry. But carry on as you see fit.

And since I wont be around feel free to go earlier. Dennis, I usually pregnant dog about start times being too early and Dax was subconsciously accommodating me!

It was a great run for sure.  Next time the squirrels and the road runners wont be so lucky.   8)
